Organisations other than the Parish Council often have responsibility for dealing with local issues affecting the public realm. You can use this page to report problems to the right organisation. However, if you don’t feel you’ve received the help you should after reporting an issue or community feelings on a certain issue are strong then let us know. The Parish Council may be able to use its influence to help get things done.
REPORT IT ONLINE
FixMyStreet is an online system for reporting all sorts of problems in the public realm. You can use it to report potholes, dog fouling, fly tipping, faulty street lights and lots more.
You can see what others have already reported and report new issues yourself. Reports go straight to the relevant authority, so the Parish Office won’t be notified directly.
PROBLEMS WITH SHEEP?
Who you should contact depends on the circumstance:
Dead/injured animals on the highway – contact the police by dialing 999
Causing a danger on the highway – contact the police by dialing 101
On Forestry Commission land – contact the Forest Commission’s Coleford Office during normal working hours by dialing 0300 0674800*
Sheep fouling – contact the Forest of Dean District Council 01594 810000
QUARRY BLAST VIBRATIONS 
We know that from time to time some properties in and around Staunton experience vibrations from the blasting that takes place at Stowfield Quarry. We would like to know how many people are affecetd and how badly so that we can assess the extent of the issue and work with the quarry company and Gloucestershire County Council to explore solutions.
